Continents and Oceans Review: Sept 23, 2013

Homework: Review for continents and oceans quiz, Latitude and Longitude Worksheet Redo

Today was review day in social studies!  We practiced labeling maps with the locations of the 7 continents and 5 oceans on Earth for our quiz tomorrow.  For the quiz tomorrow you will be given a blank map of the world and you will have to label all of the continents and oceans.  Don't forget that spelling counts!  So practice writing those names!  Here is a link to the two worksheets we used in class to review.  We used pages 2 and 3.

I also handed everyone back their latitude and longitude worksheet.  As discussed in class these can be redone to earn a higher score.  REMEMBER: Always label latitude first!  Latitude is found by using the number on the left and the right sides of the grid and longitude is found using the numbers on the top and bottom of the grid.  If you have questions about this please ask!  Worksheets are due back tomorrow.
