So today in class we began by taking notes out of the textbook. We would read a paragraph out loud and then students needed to decide what were the most important details about the section. Great practice, a good skill to have, but....boring! So we had a long discussion about how students would like to learn. Everyone learned about what types of activities they liked, and how they liked to learn best. So hopefully this week we can start incorporating some of the things that we discussed today to make these topics even more exciting!
Tomorrow we will finish the discussion on the section in the book that we started today. On Wednesday we will review what we have learned about mummification and geography, and on Thursday we will have a quiz. Friday is current events of course!
